AVATAR

My favorite movie is a science fiction movie and its name is "Avatar", it is set in the future and placed in a moon called "Pandora".  A humanoid race with feline features and blue skin lives there, they are called Naavi. There exists a mineral that the human beings want to extract and this way solve the energetic problems that exist in the planet earth.

To be able to carry out the extraction of the mineral Jake (Sam Worthington) is sent to Pandora, to integrate himself in the community and deliver information on how the Naavi live in case it is necessary to use force in order to take them out of their land and from the tree where this valuable mineral is found.

Jake fulfills his mission in a beginning but later he is sorry  because on having lived with the Naavi, he starts forgetting his life of a human being (where he cannot walk), enjoy his freedom, value the land, understand the Naavi and their customs. But the most important reason for which Jake does not want the mission to be carried out, is his love for Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), princess of the Naavi community.

I am charmed with this movie because it has a very valuable message,  it is very egocentric to think that we are the only ones in this great universe, this shows how ambitious and selfish the human being is, always wanting more no matter what, seeking to destroy to improve what it has already destroyed. On the other hand it shows that our mind has no limits, the limits we put ourselves, that we must protect our land; respect others and their beliefs because nobody owns the truth.

It is necessary to listen to our inner self, strengthen our bonds of affection and finally when there is love all that we can do, our awareness opens and begin to act from our feelings.

Finally the simple message that the movie left me and that I share with you is: “Make love and not war".

I leave the trailer, a very well made movie, full of colors and special effects and inclusive action that generates a mixture of emotions:

50 first dates

It's a beautiful romantic comedy which tells the story of an art teacher named Lucy (Drew Barrymore) who one day suffers a car accident after a cow suddenly appeared on the road. This accident leaves her with short-term memory, so every morning upon waking, she doesn't remember anything of the previous day and she believes that is the day just before the accident. Her father and her brother, seeing her in that way, do nothing more than to play along to avoid impacting her by telling her the horrible accident that occurred and the consequences it produced.
One morning at a coffee shop, she, meets a boy named Henry (Sandler Adamnan), who is not aware of the problem with Lucy until the other day. He gradually begins to fall in love with her, leaving aside the Lucy's problem of memory short-term, and trying, everyday, her to fall in love with him all over again. No one believes that the relationship between the two of them can work, especially seeing how difficult it was to make Lucy remember things. He tries all sorts of ways to maintain the relationship, even he makes a video with all their importants moments to show her every morning and so show her how much he loves her.
However, seeing the video, Lucy realizes that the relationship between her and Henry has no future and only will make him suffer. That's when she tells him that she knows everything that happens in her life, because she writes in a diary every night and she reads it the next day. She wants to make a new diary where she doesn't write about him, in order to let him go and forget him completely. He agrees with much pain, and that's when the movie takes the mystery about what will happen to their relationship.

Toy Story 3

SHAKTI LEÓN: Toy Story is an animated film for children. The story is based on the friendship between a group of toys and his owner. Toy Story is a sequence of three films and the one I chose was Toy Story three. In this movie the main characters are Andy, the boy owner of the toy, Buzz Light year, Woody and other toys. In this third part, Andy is already large and should leave for college, and has to decide who will do with their toys, so the decision to keep it in the attic. But by mistake, his mother thought they were rubbish leaving them on the street. Because of this, the toys decide to go with other toys to the nursery, where they begin a series of adventures. Here they meet a good girl with toys. Finally, after many events toys realize that Andy wanted them to save and it was all a mistake, so you are able to return home, where Andy takes the decision to give them to the same girl that had met in toys daycare.

I believe that this trilogy has a very special purpose, for the three films left a very important lesson, not only for children but for all people. In this film, Toy Story three, are taught to trust the people you love, to respect others and above all the value of friendship and how important this is. It also shows how people can make mistakes, but you always have to correct these errors and to be able to forgive. I think this film makes us see life differently and therefore makes us understand how important it’s to have friends and that friendship is something that is forged over time and is worth looking after her.
